Now, don't think I haven't been reading - I have, though admittedly not as much.
I might back fill what all I have read, but for now I am just going to do what I am reading.
I haven't read Koontz in a couple of years but this one was at my mom's house and I absconded with it while I was farm-sitting.
One of the things I love about Koontz is how easy he is to read. The pages just fly by but he isn't all business. He still takes a bit of time to fit in some poetry.
One of my favorite examples that I have come across so far...
"A phantom dancer, made of dead leaves and litter, spun down the center of the street in the embrace of a whirlwind."
and he later returns to this personification-
"Out in the street, the whirlwind had gathered more dust and detritus. Earlier the ghost had appeared to be waltzing along the blacktop. Now it was doing a frantic jitterbug."
